Prerequisites/Notes: ART 230

Catalog Description : A continuation of ART 230 with an emphasis on the use of the pinhole and 4x5 view camera and expanded darkroom instruction covering early photographic printing processes, including cyanotype and silver gelatin. Lectures, readings, discussions, and projects focus around contemporary issues, technical progress, and conceptual exploration. Historic ideas and contemporary issues related to visual culture, photography, and photographic methods are examined.
