Catalog Description : An introductory course in which film, theatre, literature, visual arts, and music are analyzed in an effort to explore the many ways in which ethnicity is expressed, reflected, and constructed in American culture. Issues of identity, authenticity, impersonation, commodification, stereotypes, integration, and audience will be raised.
