Catalog Description : An examination of European history from the French Revolution through the revolutions of 1848, focusing on the socioeconomic, political, and ideological configurations that emerged out of the French and Industrial Revolutions. Topics include the rise of liberalism, nationalism, socialism, and the modern state within their various historical contexts. (E)
