Catalog Description : A study of the role of law in international politics. Attention to the distinctive nature of the international legal system and to the relevance of international law to the control of violence, promotion of peace, protection of human rights, and management of resources. Current problems and the outlook for the future world order are assessed. PREREQUISITES: GOVT 110 or GOVT 140 or sophomore standing
