Catalog Description : An introduction to philosphical theories of friendship, with emphasis on feminist responses. This course examines historical and contemporary accounts of the value of friends and the role they play iin our self-development, as well as moral accounts of the special obligations friendships involve. This course can be counted as the equivalent of GEST 280.
