Catalog Description : Emphasizes theory, skills, and practice of presentational speaking relative to a variety of forms of communication (including ceremonial, persuasive, and impromptu speaking; intercultural communication; use of PowerPoint; and podcasts). This course will assist students in developing their academic and professional communication skills through hands-on practice, classroom activities, self-assessments, and review of others’ speeches.
