Catalog Description :
Presents the research process in archaeology and offers an overview of essential data-collection and analysis techniques, including site survey and excavation, settlement pattern analysis, lithic analysis, and ceramic analysis. Students will take part in field research.
Summer Session 2015: Research at the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies The Campbell Center is located in Mt. Carroll, IL. Students will live and work at the center from June 16 to July 2. Interested students should contact Mr. Peregrine for more information about the project, session costs, and permission to register. Deadline for $500 program deposit is May 15.
