Prerequisites/Notes: To register student must complete the Student Initiated Course Form with consultation of supervising instructor. Catalog Description : An opportunity for students to gain experience in public history. Students might work for a museum, historic site, government agency or archive, including the Lawrence University Archives. Arranged under the direction of an instructor in the department in accordance with the guidelines for academic internships as stated in the course catalog. The academic component of the internship includes readings related to the substance of the internship, discussions with the faculty supervisor, and a written report appropriate to the discipline. Course grades are based on this academic work. PREREQUISITES: To register student must complete the Student Initiated Course Form with consultation of supervising instructor.
