Catalog Description : A critical analysis and discussion of recent and current events in Spain with a focus on issues of gender and sexuality, immigration, and nationalism. Students study and present on topics that affect Spanish society today by reading, watching and listening to a variety of media sources, articles and theoretical readings. PREREQUISITES: SPAN 202 or its equivalent, official placement, or consent of instructor
