Catalog Description : This course surveys the theory, history and practice of Spanish translation. In it, students acquire the knowledge and basic skills required for translation between Spanish and English while becoming acquainted with the history of translation. Course readings introduce relevant philosophical and political debates. PREREQUISITES: One 500-level or two 400-level courses or consent of instructor
