Catalog Description : This seminar examines social development in childhood and adolescence. A variety of issues will be explored including achievement motivation, attachment, and parenting. Special emphasis is given to the topics of gender identity, gender roles, sex education, and sexual orientation.

Topic for Winter 2017: Gender and Social Development
Special emphasis is given to the development of gender identity, gender roles, and sexual orientation. Other topics include sex education, parenting, and LGBT youth risk and resilience.
