Catalog Description : The final course in the music theory core curriculum. The first part of the course develops and refines analytic skills introduced earlier in the core, applying them to specific works of the tonal repertory. The second part provides an introduction to the structural principles and formal procedures of art music from the early 20th century to the present. Corequisites: MUTH 311, 321.
