Catalog Description : An introduction to the methods and software used to analyze biological data. Through lecture and guided tutorials, students will learn the structure and organization of biological databases, explore methods for examining genomic and proteomic data sets, and examine specific case studies relating to evolution, drug discovery and human variation. PREREQUISITES: BIOL 260
