Spring Term 2017 - GOVT 150

Catalog Description : An introduction to the economic, political, social, and cultural aspects of globalization. Special attention will be paid to the influence of globalization on particular regions of the world, including Europe and North America, the former Soviet Union, East Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Emphasis will be placed on the role of cross-cultural diplomacy in a global world. As part of the course, students will participate in a simulation of an international negotiation.
