Catalog Description : A study of the guitar and its music from 1500 to present. This course examines the physical evolution of the instrument and surveys the important performers and composers for the guitar and other plucked instruments. Includes readings, listening, analysis, performance, transcription and written assignments. PREREQUISITES: Sophomore standing
