Catalog Description : This course will explore changing musical styles, practices, functions, and meanings in social and historical contexts from the middle of the 18th century to the present – and investigate the very practice of doing history as a process fueled by changing values. Music majors are encouraged to enroll during the sophomore year. PREREQUISITES: MUCO 201
