Prerequisites/Notes: CLAS 225 or three years of high school Greek Catalog Description : In this course we will read excerpts from one of the fourth-century Athenian orators (e.g., Lysias, Aeschines, Demosthenes) in Greek. Our discussion will be supplemented with additional material in English translation and secondary scholarship. Meets concurrently with CLAS 427. Not open to students who have received credit for CLAS 485 or CLAS 427, or who need to receive credit for CLAS 427.
