Catalog Description : An intensive study of Ulysses, covering the entire novel. Discussions will focus on Joyce's experiments with language and narration, his exploration of human psychology and sexuality, and (time permitting) his unique sense of humor. Seminar with short papers. PREREQUISITES: Junior standing or consent of instructor
