Fall Term 2018 Performance Skills for Singers - 5174 - MUEN 280

Registration for this term is over. Changes or corrections to registration now by petition only. Students should contact their academic advisor. Registration occurs through the ensemble request page in Voyager (see Registration menu). Requests to register must be submitted by interested students by the end of the class change period (first five class days) for the term. After registration for the term closes, this ensemble will be added to the schedules of all students with accepted requests.

Prerequisites/Notes: Students may not register for ensemble study using Voyager; registration will be handled by ensemble directors at the beginning of each term.

Catalog Description : Introduction to the craft of the singing actor. Stage/audition protocol; expressive movement; gesture; character analysis; subtext; blocking. Students must prepare song for analysis and performance. May not be repeated. PREREQUISITES: Students may not register for ensemble study using Voyager; registration will be handled by ensemble directors at the beginning of each term.
