Catalog Description : In this course students do substantial preparatory work for their senior experience project in linguistics. They identify and develop a research question, do preliminary research, and write a well-conceived research proposal. Topics include linguistic data collection, linguistic argumentation and analysis, and standards of academic writing in linguistics. PREREQUISITES: Senior standing
