Catalog Description : This course examines sociological perspectives as they pertain to Black Americans. we will explore the nexus between historical and contemporary situations of African Americans in the United States in an attempt to unearth the various ways in which these strands of thought intersect at both individual and institutional levels. Readings, group projects, final exam and project.
