Prerequisites/Notes: ART 600 Catalog Description : The primary purpose of this course is to galvanize and standardize the studio art majors' preparations for the senior exhibition departmental requirement. By immersing the student in creating and exhibiting an advanced body of work with greater faculty oversight coupled with more formalized peer input, we expect to strengthen students' synthesizing of information, ideas, and conceptual concerns accumulated over the course of their studio art education. Secondary concerns are reflection, assessment and documentation of work produced. This course will be taught as a seminar with a studio component. When scheduled on Tuesday-Thursday, class will dismiss early for University Convocations. Attributes: GER Fine Arts Div, 600-699 Capstone Course
