Catalog Description : All humans must consume food in order to live, but how "food" is defined, produced, procured, and interacted with is subject to endless variation. This class examines how food becomes more than just sustenance: how food acts as a means of building identities, making meaning, organizing society, and exerting power. PREREQUISITES: ANTH 110 or consent of instructor
