Prerequisites/Notes: CLAS 225 or three years of high school Greek Catalog Description : In this course we will read excerpts from one comedian (e.g. Aristophanes, Menander) in ancient Greek. Our discussion will be supplemented with additional comic material in English translation and secondary scholarship. Meets concurrently with CLAS 424. Not open to students who have received credit for CLAS 424 or who need to receive credit for CLAS 424.
