Prerequisites/Notes: EDST 180 and junior standing Catalog Description : For students pursuing elementary certification and preparing for the Foundations of Reading Test. Students will engage with literacy theory, explore reading development and the acquisition of reading competency, plan for literacy assessment and instruction (with attention to English language learners and learning disabilities), and integrate literacy with content instruction.
