Catalog Description : An introduction to entrepreneurship in London. Students will have the opportunity to visit a number of entrepreneurial ventures, both financial and social. Starting with the 'merchant adventurers' who helped to finance the launch of the Mayflower in 1620 and continuing to contemporary financial and social entrepreneurs active in London today, the course will show the political and economic dimensions of entrepreneurial ventures over time. PREREQUISITES: Instructor approval.
