Prerequisites/Notes: EDST 180 and sophomore standing Catalog Description : Students engage with literacy theory, explore reading development and the acquisition of reading competency, plan for literacy assessment and instruction (with attention to English language learners and learning disabilities), and integrate literacy with content instruction. Required for elementary teacher certification to prepare for the Foundations of Reading Test. Open to all students. PREREQUISITES: Sophomore standing Attributes: 400-599 Advanced Course
