Prerequisites/Notes: PHYS 310 and MATH 210 Catalog Description : Treats quantum mechanically various topics selected from atomic and nuclear physics. This course will concentrate on properties of atoms and nuclei, atomic and nuclear structure, the deuteron, nucleon-nucleon scattering, nuclear models, and nuclear decay.
