Catalog Description : An introduction to the philosphy of music education and the principles of learning theory and pedagogy, and improvisation as applied to the private lesson, instrumental and choral ensembles, and the general music classroom. In addition, the course includes observation of experienced teachers, in-class teaching, and improvisation.
