Prerequisites/Notes: Two 100- or 200- level courses in ENG or sophomore standing Catalog Description : In this discussion-driven class, we will focus on a single early modern author or literary text in order to master the art of sophisticated literary criticism: crafting and organizing complex arguments, conducting scholarly research, and employing both primary and secondary sources effectively in literary analysis.
