Prerequisites/Notes: Sophomore standing Catalog Description : This seminar engages students in critically reading literature for and about adolescents that focuses on depictions and constructions of gender and sexuality. Readings may include novels/graphic novels, poetry, and memoir, as well as scholarship on young adult literature with approaches drawn from gender, literacy, literary, ethnic, and disability studies.
