Taking a deeper look at the world beneath our feet, this class focuses on soil formation and development over time and the interactions between soils and other components of the Earth system. We explore the linkages between above-ground and below-ground biotic communities and how they biotic and physical worlds interact with geology to provide the fruitful resource of soil.
