Prerequisites/Notes: ARHI 101 or consent of instructor Catalog Description : This course aims to interrogate the Eurocentric prejudices of the art history discipline and consider instead the concept of multiple modernities. Readings and assignments will focus on expanding art historical, curatorial, digital practices. Students will put these ideas into practice by curating and designing a virtual exhibition using the OMEKA online platform to examine how art continues to circulate in a global context and by writing a research paper. Not open to students who have previously received or need to receive credit for ARHI 333.
