Catalog Description :
A discussion course focused on literary works about music and musicians. Readings will include stories and
novels, memoirs, plays, and poetry. As they read and discuss these works, students will be encouraged to
reflect on the place of music in their own lives. Assignments will include brief oral presentations, daily learning
journals, and a few short papers.
