Catalog Description : A discussion course focused on literary works that explore characters' and speakers' psychological complexities, especially in terms of memory. We will analyze texts from multiple genres, such as short stories, novels, poetry, and memoirs. Assessments: class discussion, reader's journal, and a few short papers.
