Prerequisites/Notes: PSYC 284 or COSC 105 Catalog Description : Lecture-based investigation of the mental processes involved in the acquisition, organization, and use of knowledge. Topics surveyed include attention, memory, imagery, problem solving, and individual differences. One laboratory per week involving demonstrations and experiments. Class learning will be assessed through quizzes and exams; lab work will involve assignments and the option of a written paper or group presentation on a topic of the student’s choosing.
