Prerequisites/Notes: FIST 100 or consent of instructor Catalog Description : This course examines animated documentary as an emerging hybrid form that raises unique ethical considerations and interesting possibilities for representation and expression. Through readings, screenings, and creative exercises, students will learn several animation techniques and examine both contemporary practice and historical antecedents, with a focus on engaging with critical dialogues and diverse ways of articulating relationships between maker, subject, and audience.
