Catalog Description : This course traces the history of Wisconsin's Indigenous Nations from before colonization to the present. You will learn in this discussion-based course how Native Americans have shaped their history and Wisconsin history more broadly. Moreover, you will come to understand how settler and Indigenous histories themselves are constructed narratives. You will also gain important skills, including analytical writing, persuasive speaking, and historical research methods.
