Prerequisites/Notes: PSYC 284 or COSC 105 Catalog Description : Lecture-based introduction to theories and research in the psychological study of human memory. Topics to be surveyed include the organization of memory, learning, forgetting, the neurological underpinnings of memory, memory failures, and methods to improve memory. Student learning will be assessed through quizzes, exams, an in-class group presentation of empirical papers on a topic of your choosing, and engagement with other students’ presentations.
