Prerequisites/Notes: PSYC 280/281 or PSYC 284 or BIOL 170 or instructor approval Catalog Description : Cognitive neuroscience is an emerging field that studies the biological processes that underlie cognition. This course will focus on understanding how the human brain gives rise to perception, attention, memory, language, executive function, and social cognition. Particular emphasis will be placed on learning cognitive neuroscience methods through hands on activities and designing your own studies.
