Catalog Description : The city of London showcases architectural and cultural accomplishments, but woven into this urban setting are aspects of the natural environment: the Thames River; Woodlands and Trees; Gardens; and Birds and Beasts. We will visit specific sites relevant to each topic and then we will examine how these elements have been interpreted and recreated across the arts, from paintings and poems to gardens and preserves.
