Prerequisites/Notes: THAR 187 and THAR 347 Acting II Catalog Description : We will begin by re-engaging our exploration of Shurtleff’s Guideposts from Acting I and Acting II, then explore approaches from Keith Johnstone and Marina Caldarone in both pre-modern and modern realist plays. We will also explore initial concepts in the Lessac tradition of voice and diction training and safe stage combat. Students should expect to work closely with scene partners throughout the term. 100 per cent attendance and an active-wear neutral dress code will be expected throughout the course.
