Prerequisites/Notes: PSYC 100 Catalog Description : What is learning and how does it look in the brain? What is memory and why do I sometimes forget? Are people born as blank slates or do they have some intuition about the world? How do people gather data to form an understanding about which items are causally connected? How do people update prior beliefs given new evidence? Are there computer models related to learning and memory? These questions will be engaged in this course.
