Fall Term 2024 Buddhism - 5621 - RLST 156

Catalog Description : An introductory survey of the history, development, beliefs, and practices of Buddhism. The course is modeled on a traditional Buddhist framework of teaching known as "hearing, contemplating, and meditating." In addition to reading primary and secondary sources, students will also be required to engage in some basic meditation practices as part of this course. Other assignments may include: exams, papers, and projects.
