A study of the nervous system from the perspectives of psychology and biology. Topics vary year to year and may include glial cells, neural development, and the evolution of nervous systems and neurotransmitter systems. Lecture only. May be repeated when topic is different.

How does our brain process information and control behavior to achieve our goals? In this course, we will explore the neural basis of cognition control through in-depth discussions of research articles using various neuroscience methods, spanning multiple levels of brain processing, from cellular to network to systems levels.
