Catalog Description : Compounds with metal-carbon bonds are important throughout organic, inorganic, biological and polymer chemistry. In this class, we will explore the structure and reactivity of both main-group and transition-metal organometallic compounds, and the bonding properties which give these compounds their activities. PREREQUISITES: CHEM 252 and CHEM 320 or consent of instructor
