Catalog Description : Students will learn about the challenges that multinational corporations face in interacting with governments and non-governmental organizations globally. Topics will include regulatory frameworks, cultural diversity, international political economy, cross-border operations, and corporate social responsibility. Particular attention will be paid to the challenges of "doing business' in a global environment. The course will follow the lecture/discussion model and assessment will be based on exams and a group project. PREREQUISITES: ECON 100 and sophomore standing OR consent of instructor
