Prerequisites/Notes: ENG 180, “Introduction to Creative Writing” Catalog Description : The is a seminar-style course, built around exploring, drafting, and workshopping hybrid poetry-nonfiction forms of creative writing. Such forms include prose poetry, lyrical essays, haibun, and personal criticism. Exploiting the thin line between nonfiction and poetry, this class will count as either a 300-level prose or 300-level poetry class for the Creative Writing major.
