Prerequisites/Notes: Econ 100 and sophomore standing or Instructor Approval Catalog Description : This course will consider different modes of corporate governance, including ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and CSR (corporate social responsibility). Students will learn the history and evolution of corporate governance strategies and the application of ESG to energy and natural resources markets, as well as in different cultural contexts. The course will be based on a lecture/discussion model with assignments including exams, class debate, paper, and a group project.
