Prerequisites/Notes: ANTH 110 or sophomore standing Catalog Description : This seminar explores ethnography as the defining feature of cultural anthropology. Reading a range of articles and booklength works, students survey several ethnographic genres including classic realist, experimental, narrative, self-reflexive, and critical ethnography. Students also gain experience leading discussion and delivering oral reports and presentations.
